LNHA was founded in 1957 on the premise that members have a moral obligation to the residents they serve. Since inception, LNHA has strived to meet the needs of thousands of elderly and frail Louisianians through its representation of licensed nursing facilities in the state. Cooperating closely with public and private health care groups, LNHA has continued to pursue its goal of improving the quality of life for the state's thousands of nursing home and assisted living residents.
The Louisiana Workforce Commission’s vision is to make Louisiana the best place in the country to get a job or grow a business, and our goal is to be the country's best workforce agency.
